Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a Cuban-American television arbitrator in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was lived in Havana in the Cuban capital. Her move to Miami along with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba was the host of the famous Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" it was the first Spanish programming for a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she ranked number one for Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo was born on the 11th of April of 1959 Havana, Cuba and went into Florida International University, where she graduated with a degree in political science. The following year she was awarded her PhD degree in law at the University of Miami. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was first introduced to the public via television in 2001 on Telemundo's program Sala de Parejas (2001) as well as other court shows where her expertise in law was utilized. Literature Accolades She published Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel received the Critic's Prize, and it was also awarded the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in 1960. Polo is a breast-cancer survivor and frequently gives speeches in order to raise funds. She has been an campaigner for LGBT rights all of her life. She received her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1987, and is an attorney in the Florida Bar.
